Zipporah Kuria, who lost her father in the 2019 crash, is one of them.

“I flew from England to Washington DC to hear in person what the Boeing CEO has to say to the Senate and to the world about any safety improvements made at that corporation,” said Zipporah Kuria, whose father was killed in the 2019 crash of a Boeing 737 MAX 8 jet.

Zipporah Kuria, whose father Joseph Waithaka was killed in the same accident, agrees.

“These are significant pieces, by established artists, that are integrated into the overall architecture of the project but also will attract people on their own,” says Metro Art program Senior Director Zipporah Yamamoto.

Zipporah Kuria's father, Joseph Wathaika was killed in the crash of ET302 - and she has been a vocal campaigner for Boeing to be held to account ever since.
