The Trojans already had a pledge from five-star quarterback Julian Lewis from Carrollton, Ga., then in a day added Prather’s five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry and the nation’s top edge rusher, Isaiah Gibson of Warner Robins, Ga., for the 2025 recruiting class.

Vivian Childs, a GOP activist and business owner who traveled to the event from Warner Robins, Georgia, said she took no issue with Trump’s sometimes clumsy attempts to appeal to Black voters.

Benjamin Reese, a teacher at Warner Robins Middle School, was taken into custody on Dec. 8 on charges of making terroristic threats and cruelty to children, according to Houston County jail records.

The appearance was unplanned and captured on X, formerly Twitter, by Erikka William and her daughter Charleigh, who attend the Peanut Festival annually from their home in Warner Robins.

“That’s a problem because third grade marks that transition where you stop learning to read and you have to start reading to learn to go further in your education,” said state Rep. Bethany Ballard, a Republican from Warner Robins who sponsored the House literacy bill.
