Throughout the hot weekend, temperature records were shattered from Ukiah to Ramona, and practically everywhere in between, including in the Antelope Valley, the southeast desert and the Bay Area.

“The retail part stemmed from the fact that we would have visitors who wanted to purchase cannabis, and we’d have to send them up to Ukiah,” Adkinson said.

Most of the trail is still just a dream, but there are some strollable segments in Ukiah, Eureka, Arcata and Blue Lake.
