Chelsea finished sixth last season and failing to improve on that will probably be deemed a failure, even if they win the Uefa Conference League.

A minimum of five of those will be in the Champions League, which is higher than the usual four because of England's performance in Uefa's coefficient rankings.

The top five teams are guaranteed qualification for the league phase of the Champions League - with Arsenal's win over Real Madrid on 8 April making certain that England will be one of the two associations with the highest Uefa coefficients for 2024-25, and clinching a fifth place in addition to the usual four.

The Premier League itself does not have an official gambling partner, but Uefa announced its first formal gambling sponsor last summer.

According to data from Uefa's European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report, gambling firms are also the most common sponsors of top division clubs in Belgium, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Russia.
