Vaughan, England captain for the epic 2005 Ashes victory, was joined by fellow TMS regulars Jonathan Agnew, Phil Tufnell and Ebony Rainford-Brent for the Cowdrey Lecture.

A statement said the former student "was a frequent visitor to exhibitions and events at TMS with her partner".

"Through this knowledge that the amygdala is connected to other brain regions -- potentially some that are closer to the skull, which is an easier region to target -- that means people who do TMS could target the amygdala instead by targeting these other regions," Edmonds said.

I am not leaving TMS and will carry on as normal with that programme.

Now the modern TMS team is nothing like that.
