When officers arrived at Ruddy’s home in the suburb of Temple Terrace, they found him hunched over his pickup, holding his keys and using the vehicle for support, the report said.

Authorities said it’s believed Ratcliff may have also robbed banks in November in Temple Terrace and St. Petersburg, both in the Tampa Bay area.

Temple Terrace Police Chief Kenneth Albano said during a news conference that the shooting occurred at the City Hall building, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
