The big story line of the week was Roger Staubach versus Morton, who began his NFL career in Dallas.

Mahomes celebrated his 100th regular season start with a record 78th victory - two more than Tom Brady and Roger Staubach's previous best - while he also holds the records for the most completed passes, touchdowns and passing yards in the first 100 games of a career.

The Steelers returned to the Super Bowl following the 1978 season and again defeated Tom Landry, Roger Staubach and the Cowboys 35-31.

Roger Staubach’s late rally fell short and the Steelers won their Super Bowl 35-31.

Staubach was knocked out of the game in the third quarter with Washington leading 16-3.
