Holly M. Frye of South Ogden, Utah, said she has near-daily conversations with her three children about how to act around police officers, the same kind of conversations her parents had with her.

Darling, 27, of South Ogden is accused of blocking traffic, damaging vehicles and driving the car Taggart was in, according to a probable cause statement.

In that case, the jury found that the death penalty was warranted - against Douglas Lovell in the 1985 murder of Joyce Yost of South Ogden.

“Enoch said, ‘You have to forgive me, I haven’t dated in about 50 years,’” said Wright, who now lives in unincorporated Weber County near South Ogden.

Brown unsuccessfully petitioned for a spot on the ballot involving a seat that serves the city of South Ogden and parts of southern Ogden, securing 982 signatures.
