A £1.2m fund to help boost tourism and repair "reputational damage" after a cryptosporidium outbreak in south Devon has been described as "desperately important".

A nature enthusiast and her father have made a colourful discovery of a sea slug usually found in the Mediterranean in a rock pool in south Devon, a wildlife trust says.

A camping and holiday park in south Devon say some customers have raised concerns and cancelled over the contaminated water issue.

"I was looking at more than two dozen companies, and having to phone every single one of them and tell them about my loss," says Eleanor Wood, 41, from South Devon.
