Per a New York Times report, seller Shah Alam didn’t know about the auction until a couple of days after the sale and explained that he “had never seen this kind of money,” as he lives in a shared basement apartment in the Bronx and doesn’t even own the stand he helps operate for 12 hours a shift.

Videos shared on social media showed fire and plumes of black smoke rising from the crash site on a grassy lawn by the side of a main highway in Shah Alam.

Shah Alam district police chief Mohamad Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed that a jet has crashed.

The prosecution can appeal the verdict in Zahid's case in higher courts following the acquittal by the Shah Alam High Court.
