Seahenge

Among the pieces to be seen by the public for the first time will be Bronze Age artefacts, discovered at the beach at Holme-next-the-Sea near to the Seahenge wooden monuments.

In 1998 archaeologists discovered "seahenge", on a beach at Holme, in Norfolk.

As fragile as the Sphinx's face, as transient as the northern lights, as disconcertingly faecal as Seahenge, this irreplaceable part of our gaseous heritage is literally in danger of being blown out to sea.
