Romulus and Remus

The other two are named Romulus and Remus, after the mythical founders of Rome said to have been suckled by a she-wolf as infants.

The three pups — Romulus and Remus, who were born in October, and Khaleesi, born in January — now live on an ecological preserve at an undisclosed location that spans over 2,000 acres and hosts 10 full-time staff members who care for and observe them.

At some point the statue lost its front legs as well as the figures of two human infants suckling underneath, representing Romulus and Remus the mythical founders of Rome who were said to have been raised by a wolf.

In one meme, a boar replaces the she-wolf who suckled Romulus and Remus, Rome’s mythical forefathers.

You get a sense of this when Phil makes an early speech likening himself and his brother to Romulus and Remus; he’s more erudite than his chaps and spurs and coarse habits let on, which is disquieting in itself.
