“Our thoughts are first, with the family today. This has been a devastating case for the family and community,” Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart said in a statement.

Cindi Rinehart, 75, known as the “Queen of Soaps” on “Northwest Afternoon,” died Tuesday after a brief battle with cancer, according to KOMO.

Rinehart was the co-host of KOMO’s afternoon talk show “Northwest Afternoon” for 24 years.

Rinehart was facing several health issues, according to KOMO, including throat cancer and heart failure.

Rinehart kept viewers up to date on all things involving soap operas.
