In 2021, Rhiannon Adam was chosen as the only female crew member from one million applicants and for three years she immersed herself in the space industry.

This is a movie that features legendary bluesman Buddy Guy and, on the soundtrack, banjo evangelist Rhiannon Giddens and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich.

There have been cancellations in protest of the takeover — notably Rhiannon Giddens, the Broadway production of “Hamilton” and what was to have been the Washington premiere of Gregory Spears’ moving opera “Fellow Travelers,” based on the Lavender Scare, the 1950s federal persecution of gay men and lesbians in government.

“Love Ain’t Easy” has a very George Harrison guitar riff, and “The Nineties” sounds a bit like Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon.”

The Segerstrom program included a new dance, “We the People,” with a lovely score by Rhiannon Giddens and somber choreography by Jamar Roberts.
