�ʳܰ�����é

As it turns out, �ʳܰ�����é, like much of Colombia today, is safe to travel and eager for tourists.

Travelers to the southwestern states of Huila and Cauca, I had read, could pass through desert, jungle and alpine conditions within a day, albeit on some rugged roads like through �ʳܰ�����é, which ranges across 320 square miles.

As it happened, our drive into �ʳܰ�����é would take us higher into the Andes until we reached a vast moor carpeted in frailejónes and stretching to the �ʳܰ�����é Volcano which rose to over 15,000 feet and was shrouded in mist.

But we planned to drive via the Parque National Natural �ʳܰ�����é, and the road bisecting this jungle and rain forest landscape is mostly unpaved, so we would be at a crawl much of the day.
