Prohibition party

Free Democrat leaders leaned into the conservative caricature of the Greens as the “prohibition party,” calling the bill the “heating prohibition law.”

With the high cost of alcohol, Heidi suggests a 1920s-inspired "prohibition party", in the style of the time when the US banned alcohol.

“People after class are going to want to hang out and socialize. It’s like after Prohibition: Party like there’s no tomorrow.”

Those names belong to a range for political parties such as Bread and Roses, American Solidarity, Socialist Workers Party, Prohibition Party and of course, West's Birthday Party.

"You should think of the Prohibition Party as an exercise in living history," says Jim Hedges, treasurer to the party, which is the third-oldest in the US.
