So began what appeared to be a long tirade from the principal of Pikesville High School, punctuated with racist, antisemitic and offensive tropes.

But it really struck a nerve in the peaceful, leafy suburb of Pikesville, which has large black and Jewish communities, and in the nearby city of Baltimore, Maryland.

Already, that’s around 60 times the entire population of Pikesville.

Staff at Pikesville High told them they were feeling unsafe because of all the attention, and they were concerned that the school was bugged with recording devices.
