Northants Sings Out passed the semi-final stage after a split decision by the judges meant the public had the last say.

Keen fossil hunter Steve was exploring Irchester Country Park, Northants, with three-year-old Cody when they found an unusually shaped rock partially buried.

"I was a very good spin bowler," added the former Northants, Sussex and Essex cricketer, who was part of the side that won the 2009 Ashes series.

The chief executive officer of West Northants Council, Anna Earnshaw, later emailed Mr Clark to say "the claims about domestic violence were a personal matter and not for the council to investigate".
