Born into a Boston Red Sox-loving household, Lund grew up in Nashua, N.H., and played shortstop in a traveling league.

At this point, Nashua’s main goal is getting people out and safe.

From the time she arrived in Nashua, N.H., at age 20, the sense would wash over her on long drives to get to an Indian restaurant or while pushing her cart around the grocery store.

The house she rented just before getting into the race is in Nashua, N.H., in a district that runs the length of the state and includes all of its western portion.

At least five Republicans also have announced their candidacies to represent the district, which stretches along the western half of the state and includes Concord and Nashua.
