Mountain Standard Time

It was, in actual fact, around 5:30PM Mountain Standard Time, but then again, for most, 420 is more of a state of mind.

During the War Time period, Phoenix and most of Arizona added 1 hour to Mountain Standard Time to what is now known as Mountain Daylight Time.

Being on Mountain Standard Time year-round would have the same effect as being on Pacific Daylight Time year-round.

If Congress does not authorize it, legislators are proposing that the state seek approval from the Department of Transportation to change Washington to year-round Mountain Standard Time, which would have the same outcome.
