Thoughtfully placed benches and seating throughout the landscape offer curated interior views and glimpses of Mount Rainier and Puget Sound in the distance.

In 2022, before his first Mount Rainier summit, Okerlund read about Nathan Longhurst and Jason Hardrath setting a Bulger record: Longhurst became the youngest at the time, at 21, to bag all 100 peaks, while Hardrath somehow summited the 100 in fewer than 51 days.

A central lawn provides social space, including a cricket oval, with spectacular views of Mount Rainier, the city and the bay.

And glimpses of snow-topped Mount Rainier, looking improbably close and gorgeous!
