Three people have been seriously injured in a crash between a car and motorhome.

A black Volvo had driven from the B6318 on to the A69, according to Northumbria Police, when it hit a white and grey Fiat Ducato motorhome at the junction.

The driver and passenger of the motorhome were checked over at the scene and are helping police with their inquiries.

Her show Motorhome Marilyn is based on a passing glimpse of a real person she encountered years ago on the streets of Los Angeles.

"I saw this woman coming out of a motorhome near the place where the stars are on the pavement," says Collins.
