Founded and based in the small town of Willits, in Mendocino County, Lear Asset Management was founded by Trouette in 2012, according to state records.

She moved back to her home on Mendocino Street, across the street from the golf course, after her backyard caught fire.

Its volatility is due to three tectonic plates meeting, an area known as the Mendocino Triple Junction.

There was, technically, a tsunami — albeit one measured at a scant 5 centimeters — in Arena Cove off Mendocino County.

But there was one miracle on Mendocino Street.
