Musk’s SpaceX company sued the commission last fall after commissioners rejected a bid to increase the number of rocket launches from the U.S. military’s Vandenberg Space Force Base near Lompoc.

One likely scenario could bring seven-tenths of an inch of rain to Thousand Oaks through Wednesday; four-fifths of an inch to Fillmore and Santa Maria; nine-tenths of an inch to Lompoc; about an inch to Oxnard, Ojai and Santa Ynez; 1.26 inches to Santa Barbara; 1.39 inches to San Luis Obispo; and 1.9 inches to Cambria.

Pat Kaufman was living in Lompoc in the mid-1970s when her 12-year-old Beagle mix, Jake, was diagnosed with splenic cancer and needed surgery.

He was convicted of inciting a riot at the Lompoc prison in 2003.

He reported last month to the Federal Correctional Institution Lompoc II, a low-security prison in Santa Barbara County, to serve a 13-year sentence.
