The incident took place one day after a similar threat prompted a lockdown of Loma Linda University’s Children’s Hospital.

“Measles is so infectious,” said Dr. Chad Vercio, division chief of general pediatrics at Loma Linda University Children’s Health in San Bernardino County, where about 93.5% of kindergarten students were immunized against measles last year.

An all-clear was declared at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital on Wednesday evening after a ‘swatting’ call reporting an armed man.

Neither the Loma Linda Hospital nor the Claremont McKenna calls were deemed credible threats, and it is unknown whether any of the incidents are related.
