As an amateur, Foreman had sparred with former heavyweight champion Sonny Liston, and when he turned pro, it was with Liston’s management team, Foreman assuming Liston’s fierce demeanor in the process.

"It's difficult to think of a disease, injury or infection that doesn't involve some kind of immune response, and our finding really changes the way we could control this response," said Liston.

Though he is not listed in any government contracts as a lawyer of record, Mr. Barbour himself was a member of the legal team when Liston & Deas vied for the contract in Ohio.
