Le Gallienne

Alice in Wonderland A young girl undertakes a fantastical journey in Eva Le Gallienne and Florida Friebus’ adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale; for ages 6 and up.

They joined Le Gallienne’s American Repertory Theater on Broadway, appearing in “Henry VIII,” “Androcles and the Lion” and “������ Every Woman Knows,” and married in 1948.

Other grown women followed her in the stage role, like Marilyn Miller, Eva Le Gallienne and Jean Arthur.

Some past Broadway productions have starred Eva Le Gallienne, Jean Arthur and Maude Adams as the bratty, airborne protagonist.

The two great steps in the abolition of poets were the shearing of Mr. Richard Le Gallienne and the invention of East Aurora.
