Carlos Castro was leading off the 8th inning for the Tiburones of La Guaira in a Venezuelan Winter League game against the Caribes de Anzoategui when he hit his third home run of the night.

The Tiburones de La Guaira went on to beat the Caribes de Anzoátegui 6-4 victory in Saturday’s game in the port city of Puerto Las Cruz, Venezuela.

Bolívar, 19, will return to Venezuelan club La Guaira after a one-year loan in which he scored six goals for second-division Loudoun United.

Away from the Phillies, Velandia helped construct the Team Venezuela roster for the 2013 World Baseball Classic and was the general manager of the Tiburones de la Guaira of the Venezuelan winter league for five years.

This preseason, United also acquired forward Jovanny Bolívar, 19, on loan from Venezuelan champion La Guaira.
