Rogen made it a point to note that he acknowledges some of the Judaist rituals as they pertain to death and mourning – such as the week-long shiva that “puts you to work, and it forces you to do stuff, and it forces you to confront it, and it forces you to be around people and talk to people” – and said he “appreciates a lot of the protocol that is helpful.”
