Ivano-Frankivsk

The White Acacia in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, is a 140 year-old rarity known as the Witness of Seven Generations.

Authorities in Ivano-Frankivsk said it was the worst attack on the region so far.

Along with the damage caused in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, energy and infrastructure facilites were damaged in the Lviv and Ternopil regions.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko, said in a statement on social media that energy infrastructure in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad and Ivano-Frankivsk regions had also been targeted.

Russian missiles do reach Ivano-Frankivsk but you get a lot more warning.
