The distributions of signal in the invariant mass and in the MVA discriminant are derived from simulations with a detailed description of the detector response for CMS and are calibrated using exclusive two-body hadronic decays in data for LHCb.

The branching fractions are then obtained by a fit to the dimuon invariant mass, , of all categories simultaneously.
