‘The Sixth Sense’ star Haley Joel Osment has been released after his recent arrest in Mammoth Lakes on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of an unidentified controlled substance.

The 37-year-old “Blink Twice” and “The Sixth Sense” star was arrested April 8 on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of an unidentified controlled substance in Mammoth Lakes, according to People and TMZ.

“Saturday saw a significant increase in both crowd size and emergency medical calls, most of which were related to alcohol intoxication,” the office said in a statement released Monday.

"This means that the flies have a control mechanism that allows them to get all the benefits of alcohol consumption without risking alcohol intoxication," lead author Ian Keesey, of the University of Nebraska, said.

The hope is that the information will help owners and employees recognize possible patterns, such as when patrons are leaving too drunk or act as a catalyst to retrain staff on signs of intoxication.
