It comes after calls from opposition parties for a fresh inquiry into grooming gangs, including Conservative MP for Keighley and Ilkley Robbie Moore.

Robbie Moore, Conservative MP for Keighley and Ilkley, called the latest delay "sheer mismanagement" and said Bradford Council needed to be transparent about the use of "hard-earned" taxpayer cash.

Hundreds of swimmers turned out for a full moon swim at Ilkley Lido as part of a campaign to save the venue.

Ilkley Lido was opened in the West Yorkshire spa town back in 1935 as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations for King George V.

Robbie Moore, MP for Keighley and Ilkley, received nine messages over two days from Richard Inman in 2023, one of which said: "The real men of this county will hang the lot of you".
