Dinner that evening at l’Hospitalet Beach, Château l’Hospitalet’s beachfront restaurant, heralded a return to present-day civilization.

Sitting a few miles from the vineyards, it seemed fitting to order the white biodynamic Château l’Hospitalet wine, a citrusy and crisp blend.
