Police in Feixiang district of Handan city identified the boy only by his last name, Wang.

Authorities in the northern Chinese city of Handan have detained three teenage boys over the brutal death of their classmate, local media report.

"Before this incident happened, we had never even been to the nearby city of Handan," Mr Li says.

“All these years I’ve been drifting along in life like a ghost,” Li said in an interview in China’s Handan city.
