Though it scored him awards recognition, Hamlin says that he’s just grateful to have been working for almost 50 consistent years in the industry—a feat, considering that his radical early work got him trounced from the list for studio films.

But whether by force or necessity, Hamlin enjoys his character actor industry status just fine.

Along with the second season of his cooking show “In the Kitchen with Harry Hamlin” on the horizon, Hamlin is also adding new products to his line of Harry’s Famous pasta sauces and embarking on a podcast with his wife, Lisa Rinna.
