Republican candidate Derrick Anderson and Democrat Eugene Vindman are fighting to represent Virginia's 7th district, which encompasses Fredericksburg and Culpeper in the northern part of the state.

When the pandemic killed her personal training business in Fredericksburg, Va., she moved to Florida, taking a job at a sports medicine clinic near Jacksonville.

The field includes four current and former elected officials from Prince William County, a northern Virginia suburb constituting more than a third of the district stretching south past Fredericksburg and west past Culpeper.

The 33-year-old Fredericksburg native walked away with the crown, a $100,000 check and a record deal with Universal Music after the competition show’s Season 24 finale on Tuesday.

She officially joined and traveled with the unit for almost the entirety of the conflict, including the battles at Antietam and Fredericksburg.
