Experience is the best teacher

“I think, over time, experience is the best teacher,” he said after Sunday’s loss.

“We played emotionally and allowed the emotions of the game to dictate how fast we could play physically and how smart we could play physically. It’s something we have to get better at. Experience is the best teacher. I’m sure by the time we meet again next year, these guys will be tired of hearing about the experience of this one.”

"You got guys out there that may not be there in most situations … experience is the best teacher for those guys being out there to close a game," Nuggets coach Michael Malone said.
