"We've all grown up together and now we're growing old together," said Elyse.

"It's the end of an era, really," said the hotel's owner Elyse Waddy.

"Pretty much the whole of their time is devoted to the hotel and they've devoted all of their lives," said Elyse.

The 64-room hotel in the centre of the seaside resort has been run by Elyse's family for almost 80 years and Elyse grew up there.
