Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team said volunteers reached the person on the east ridge of Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, at 23:30 GMT on Thursday.

East Ridge Police Corporal Terry Prescott was wounded Sunday afternoon after stopping a red Dodge Challenger in the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy, police told news outlets.

Multiple law enforcement agencies conducted an extensive air and ground search and found Kitts, who engaged officers several times with gunfire before he was shot, East Ridge Police said Monday morning in a statement on Facebook.

"East Ridge Police Chief Stan Allen confirms an officer was shot at traffic stop off of Ringgold Road," she wrote on Sunday afternoon.

Hannah Poor, a senior at East Ridge High School, said she loves seeing all the signs of support around Woodbury.
