California is giving residents another chance at a grabbing thousands of dollars in free cash toward the purchase of an e-bike after a similar voucher offer last year saw a massive wave of applications.

Next week, Californians who fit the eligibility requirements outlined by the California E-Bike Incentive Project can apply for a voucher for up to $2,000 toward the purchase of an e-bike if they join the wait list between 5 and 6 p.m.

A witness account said the individual appeared to be a man between 30 and 40 years old wearing all black and riding a black fat-tire e-bike, according to NOAA.
