Luke Littler set up a rematch of the World Darts Championship final against Michael van Gerwen after winning in the first round of the Dutch Masters in Den Bosch.

The partisan crowd in Den Bosch had plenty to enjoy with seven of the eight first round matches featuring Dutch players.

He also has a season of first-team experience behind him from his native Netherlands after a loan spell with Den Bosch.

The then-16-year-old lost to Luke Humphries in the showpiece, but beat the world number one 6-5 in the quarter-finals in Den Bosch.

Last week's opening World Series event in Bahrain saw all eight PDC 'superstars' progress through the first round, but the opening two games of the night ensured that was not the case in Den Bosch.
