The Dawson Creek Minor Hockey Association issued a statement explaining that the prize was meant for adults and never where the children were.

The pipeline would run from the Dawson Creek area of northern British Columbia to a facility near Kitimat on the Pacific coast.

It would carry gas extracted from the Dawson Creek area of the province to the liquefied natural gas export terminal in Kitimat, British Columbia.

Energy company TransCanada is attempting to build the Coastal GasLink, a 670km line stretching from Dawson Creek to the coastal city of Kitimat.

If built, the Coastal GasLink pipeline project, first proposed in 2012 and approved in October 2018, would run approximately 670 kilometres across northern B.C., bringing fracked gas from Dawson Creek to the Port of Kitimat.
