Data from the College Board shows the average cost of attending a four-year school in 2023-2024 starts at $28,840 and goes up to $60,420, depending on whether the student is in-state or out-of-state or attends a public versus private college.

Buchwald continued to support his alma mater by serving on the Brooklyn College board.

He will continue his duties as chairman of the Hillsdale College Board of Trustees, a position he took up in 2019.
