Cheshire West and Chester councillor Karen Shore will hope to retain the seat which Amesbury won for Labour at last year's general election with a majority of more than 14,000.

Cheshire West and Chester Council paid out £2.7m.

Photographs taken by passers-by showed Cheshire West And Chester Council traffic wardens placing tickets on a number of 1980s-era vehicles that had been parked on double-yellow lines along Overleigh Road.

Cheshire West and Chester Council said there was more demand for specialist places than availability.

Cheshire West and Chester Council said: "The aim is to support all young people to access education in a school or setting that can meet their individual needs and within their local community wherever appropriate."
