The boil water advisory remains in effect for parts of West Baltimore from North and South Riggs Avenue to West Franklin Street and East and West Carey Street to Pulaski Avenue, officials said.

A 26-year-old man was shot to death in the first block of South Carey Street in the Hollins Market neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore about 1 p.m.

Police say the woman told investigators that a man walked past her on North Carey Street on Saturday night, then doubled back and forced her into an alley and rear of a vacant house.
