When honing his craft at Santa Monica College and the ArtCenter, he developed a deeper appreciation for the grandeur of artists like William-Adolphe Bouguereau and John Singer Sargent.

It served as a melancholy backdrop for William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s “The Bohemian,” while the interior provided a golden, grandiose aura for Jacques-Louis David’s “The Coronation of Napoleon.”
