Melinna Bobadilla claimed last summer that she was removed from a flight for defending a “young woman being shamed and harassed by an employee for wearing a tank top that was deemed too revealing,” she said in a viral tweet thread that has since been made private.

Valentín Bobadilla, 20, got a tattoo of the controversial gesture the goalkeeper made when he took the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper of the tournament and held it to his groin.

“The gesture that some people find vulgar really caught my eye,” Bobadilla said.

City Manager René Bobadilla and Human Resources Director Nicholas Razo, who are listed as defendants, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
