In the Bluegrass State, the emerging EV sector has been a big contributor to the state’s record pace of economic growth.

Their previous home in the tiny western Kentucky community of Barnsley was destroyed by another tornado during a terrifying night of storms in December 2021 that killed 81 people in the Bluegrass State.

They retraced the steps of the civil rights icon and 10,000 others who joined the 1964 March on Frankfort to call for legislation to end discrimination and segregation in the Bluegrass State.

Throughout his career, McConnell has been a prolific appropriator for the Bluegrass State, a role he’s well positioned to continue as a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

A separate spending bill headed to the full Senate would tap into the Bluegrass State’s massive budget reserves to make a number of one-time investments.
