Sixth formers in Ysgol Godre'r Berwyn in Bala, Gwynedd, are currently preparing for their exams while looking ahead to the next step after leaving school.

“He said in a whisper of a voice, ‘I go to Bala,’” Egan said.

“I’m thinking, `Where the hell is Bala High School?’

Bryant was a student at Bala Cynwyd Junior High and the son of Joe Bryant.

Bala, who renounced Islam in 2014, said there were times during his incarceration that he felt he "may not get out alive".
